Canterbury Country is a sole trader family owned business, with its humble beginnings, ten years ago in the Canterbury countryside. Hand making in small batches a collection of relishes, chutneys, sauces, jams, jellies, and marmalades.

Using only fresh fruits and vegetables, sauced from home grown and local orchards. Canterbury Country offer a range of Gluten Free and Sugar Free condiments, with no artificial sugars, colours or preservatives. This makes for a product the whole family can enjoy with confidence.(Pineapples and bananas are used fresh but are imported fruits, not available in New Zealand)

Our Kitchen is very allergy aware, being diabetic and a heart bypass patient with allergies, care is also taken to avoid cross contamination. Only good quality fruits and vegetables are used in the making of Canterbury Country products. As a company policy, less salt and less sugar is used in all our products.

Our Product sells on its taste.

A complete Ingredients list for each product is available under Ingredients Lists. There are no ‘numbers’ in our ingredients, every jar carries a full ingredient list. Nutrition Labels are also available upon request

All our products are hot sealed in glass and have a one year shelf life.

The perfect gift to send overseas, we know our fruit cakes have traveled to friends and family all over the world. They are packed and sealed for both cruise ship and air travel.
